Special Classes & Events
At Lucky Lane, learning doesn't just take place in your child's classroom. We are fortunate to have five additional rooms, which allow students to fully immerse themselves in a variety of activities. Our curriculum includes the following specialized classes:
Library: Our library fosters a love of reading early on as students listen to stories and check out library books.
Music: Students learn about elements of music as they sing, dance, and play instruments.
Art: Our art room provides a space where students can explore various art processes, study famous artists, and create masterpieces with a variety of media.
Gymnastics: We've partnered with local gymnastics company Hi-NRG Gymnastix for this optional class which enables students to build strength and learn about a healthy lifestyle as they jump, tumble, and exercise in our Gross Motor room.
Yoga: Students learn spatial awareness, balance, and mindfulness as they explore the world of yoga through an age-appropriate storytelling approach.
Annual School & Community Events
One of our primary goals at Lucky Lane is to involve our students and families in school activities in an effort to build a sense of community. We believe that blurring the percieved boundaries between school and the rest of their lives will help children effectively retain the lessons they learn in class. Parents appreciate the chance to put faces with names, to take the initiative to help plan events, to become room parents, or even to participate on our board.
Take comfort in being a part of a supportive atmosphere where your children learn and grow each day.
